We are customers too, and we want to offer the same service as we expect ourselves. If our service doesn't meet your expectations, please let us know immediately. (Don’t tell anyone else!) If our service is good – tell as many people as you can!
Postage and packing
Unless it is said otherwise in the product descrption, our prices include free world wide delivery.
Payment & pricing
Payment over the Internet can be made by most major credit and debit cards. Or you can use a PayPal account. You can also pay by cheque.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at UK rates.
When you buy through the web site shopping cart you will receive confirmation by email.
Delivery & returns
We aim to despatch all paid for orders on the next working day. Sometimes things can happen that are beyond our control. If for some reason you don't receive your parcel within 7 working days, please contact us.
If you're not satisfied, you get your money back! We will refund any stock item you have bought through our web site or by mail order that you are not happy with within 14 days of you receiving it. All we ask is that you look after the item so that it can still be sold to someone else.
This does not apply to books, or CDs and DVDs where the seals are broken or to custom orders. Custom orders are orders made to your specification. For example, items made to specific requirements such as design, size alteration or custom colour may not be returned for refund.
Our products
We search the world for suppliers of interesting costume items and clothing, media products such as books, music and DVD, as well as lifestyle products such as textiles, home and clothing. We're always on the look out for new ideas - we sell an ever increasing variety of products.
Quality
Many items are individually hand-crafted in workshops around the world, mainly using natural fibres. This means that colours and materials may vary slightly. It also means that colours and dyes should not be assumed to be fast. Some items are unsuitable for washing. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
Vintage items may show signs of wear. For most dancers and collectors this adds to their appeal.
Product availability
If the product is shown as available, we have it in stock. Many of our products are ‘one-off’ finds or individually designed and made.
Some products may be temporarily out of stock but can still be ordered; you can email us to check and order, and we'll send them to you when they come in.
Privacy & security
We handle any personal information that you send to with the highest standards of security and confidentiality. We will NEVER sell or give information to any third party without your permission.
You can elect to be sent emails of updates and news from our web site. These addresses are used for our own marketing purposes only. You can request that we stop sending you updates by sending an email to us with UNSUBSCRIBE in the header.
