Dance Sandals

Fitting Dance Sandals by Measuring Your Foot

Length is the most important measurement because the sandal has to fit without excess length, but also not be too short so that your toes are hanging over the edge.

Width is not as important because the straps adjust for width.

These instructions are for fitting a dance sandal by measuring your foot.

  • Stand on a piece of paper with your weight on your foot.(This is most important to get an accurate measurement of your foot. Sitting down with the weight off will give a false measurement.)
  • Draw around an outline of your foot. Keep the pencil vertical to get an accurate drawing.

  • On the outline you have drawn, mark the longest points of your foot and measure the length from the heel to the tip of your longest toe.
  • Use the shoe size chart to select a pair of sandals.
