Stretching the back
  1. Sit comfortably with your back straight. Put your feet flat on the floor (if you are in a chair) or out in front (if you are on the floor).
  2. Bend your left knee, and cross your left leg over the right leg as near to your right knee as you can.
  3. Gently turn your torso to the left.
  4. Look over your left shoulder.

Notes

  • This stretch can be done in a chair or on the floor.
  • Move slowly and carefully.
  • Release carefully and repeat on the other side.
